Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development is composed of ten Sections and two Annexes. The Sections are: General provisions (sect. 1); Minimum conditions of keeping of cattle (sect. 2); Minimum conditions of keeping of horses (sect. 3); Minimum conditions of keeping of pigs (sect. 4); Minimum conditions of keeping of sheep (sect. 5); Minimum conditions of keeping of goats (sect. 6); Minimum conditions of keeping of poultry (sect. 7); Minimum conditions of keeping fur animals (sect. 8); Minimum conditions of keeping of red deer and fallow deer (sect. 9); Transitional and final provisions (sect. 10). The Act establishes minimal conditions of keeping livestock, individually for species, age and physiological state of animals. The conditions have to be: safe for health of animals; enabling to easily move, lie down and stand up; allowing to see other animals.
