Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down methods for monitoring performance and other characteristics and methods for assessing the genetic value of pure-bred breeding animals of bovine species. Organizations dealing with animal husbandry are obliged to keep the database on production and other characteristics of animals and this Regulation provides details on the collection of such data and method of data exchange. This Regulation is composed of 19 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Methods for monitoring performance and evaluation of production and other characteristics of the animals of bovine species (Sec. 2); Methods for assessing the genetic value of pure-bred breeding animals of bovine species (Sec. 3); Collection of data on production and other characteristics and method of data exchange (Sec. 4); Final provision (Sec. 5).
