Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, set detailed issues regarding the manner and related procedure for medical waste management. This Regulation further defines the contents of medical waste management plan from institutions where human health care is performed (Chapter II). These provisions do not apply to the management of radioactive medical waste, including radiopharmaceuticals, as well as other particular types of medical waste, whose management is regulated by special regulations.
