This Regulation enters into force on 6 June 2001.
Abstract

In order to prevent and combat foot-and-mouth disease this Regulation prescribes measures through notification of diseases, segregation of suspected animals, marking of infected places, declaration of infected places, slaughter of suspected animals, quarantine etc. Competent veterinarian shall ensure that there is compulsory and immediate notification of the suspected presence of foot-and-mouth disease to the veterinary inspection.
