Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the measures to be applied in the event of an outbreak of Newcastle disease in: a) poultry and; b) sport pigeons and other captive birds. In case of suspicion of the presence of Newcastle disease, the competent veterinary organization is obliged to, as soon as possible (no longer than 24 hours), inform the competent veterinary inspectorate and competent authorities, which have their further obligations in this matter.
