Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Veterinary Law (Republika Srpska), prescribes measures for early detection, sampling and laboratory diagnostics for the prevention of the occurrence, spread and monitoring of the epizootiological situation of swine respiratory reproductive syndrome, parvovirus infection of pigs and Aujeszky’s diseases of reproductive pigs. On farms with 20 to 60 sows, gilts and boar are inspected by a prevalence of 40%, and on farms with over 60 sows the prevalence of detection is of 20%. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management adopts the plan of related sampling by local self-government units, which is published on the website of the Ministry.
