Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Veterinary Law (Republika Srpska), prescribes necessary measures for early detection, diagnosis, prevention of spread, control and eradication of infectious classical swine fever disease, and sets issues and manner for effective implementation of such measures. The owner of the pigs shall, without delay, report to the competent veterinary organization or veterinary inspection if there is any suspicion of classical swine fever. When there is a suspicion of occurrence or confirmation, competent veterinary organization is obliged to, without delay, and at the latest within 24 hours, notify such information to the competent veterinary inspector, who is obliged to inform the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
