Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down control rules and measures to control African horse sickness. The occurrence or suspicion of African horse sickness is subject to compulsory and immediate notification to the competent authority. Further the Regulation provides measures to be taken in case of suspicion of infection and in case of outbreak of the disease. The Regulation is composed of the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Suspicion of African horse sickness (Sec. 2); Confirmation of African horse sickness (Sec. 3); Protection and surveillance zones (Sec. 4); Final provisions (Sec. 5).
