The present Ordinance enters into force retrospectively on 1 January 1998.
Abstract

The present Regulation enforces the Ordinance implementing the Federal Act on hunting and the protection of wild mammals and birds (Hunting Ordinance) of 14 December 1988. In particular, the purpose of the Regulation is to conserve and improve the living conditions of wild mammals and birds. The text consists of 13 articles divided into 4 chapters as follows: Purpose and sphere of application (1); Measures concerning wild fauna (2); Enforcement (3); Final provisions (4).
