Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Serbian Law on plant protection products prescribes the maximum permitted amounts of residues of plant protection agents in food and animal feed and food and animal feed for which the maximum allowed amounts of residues of plant protection agents are determined. The provisions of this text do not apply to products of plant and animal origin that can be proven to be intended for the production of products that are not food or animal feed, for sowing or planting or for testing active substances in accordance with the law. The provisions of this Regulation do not apply to food and animal feed for which the maximum permitted amount of residues of plant protection products intended for export is determined in the event that the importing country requires or allows treatment of the product before export in order to prevent the introduction of harmful organisms into its territory.
