Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on food (Republic of Srpska), prescribes maximum levels of pesticide residues in and on food, in foodstuffs of plant and animal origin and in animal feed of plant and animal origin. These provisions shall apply to products of plant and animal origin or parts thereof as listed in Annex 1; these provisions will not apply to products listed in Annex 1, which are intended for production/products other than food or feed, for sowing and planting, as well as for testing active substances in accordance with applicable regulations. Maximum pesticide residue levels here defined do not apply to the products listed in Annex 1, which are intended for export and which have been treated before export if it is established by appropriate evidence that the country of destination requires or agrees with the same. The provisions of this text shall apply accordingly with the provisions of special regulations on biocides, special regulations on undesirable substances in animal feed and a special regulation relating to veterinary medicinal products.
