Abstract

This Regulation rules regarding the logging, handling of logging residues, harvesting and stacking of forest wood assortments. In order to ensure the felling of only those trees that have been selected, the Forest Service of Slovenia must mark the trees for possible felling. In order to monitor the development of forests, the trees selected for felling must be recorded according to the type of felling, tree species, breast diameter and number. The selection of trees for possible felling can only be carried out by authorized workers of the Slovenian Forestry Institute in cooperation with forest owners.
