Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on ambient air quality, prescribes the limit values for allowed levels of emissions and types of pollutants in waste gases and vapors emitted by the stationary sources into the ambient air. The level and types of pollutants in the air shall be determined by the quantity and concentration of polluting substances at the place of emission source for a certain time by approved methods of measurement and calculation. Stationary source is an installation, technological process, technological unit, industrial plant, device, certain activity, which from its fixed position, through certain outlets or openings, actually releases pollutants into the air (including solvents and other hazardous substances). The emitted mass concentration and emitted quantity of polluting substances shall be determined for each polluting substance in relation to the deriving waste gas or emission steam. When several pollutants from different groups are present in the waste gas or steam at the same time, the combined emission of substances from the same group should not exceed the prescribed levels for each individual substance of the group and the requirements of each group should be met separately.
