This Regulation entered into force on 12 July 2008.
Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 18 articles and two Annexes, lays down provisions governing leisure sea fishing, and specifies general conditions of leisure fishing, nature and number of permitted fishing gear, means of leisure fishing, the way of issuance, format and content of annual licenses for sports fishing, annual licenses for sports fishing with underwater gun, handling of caught fish, the allowable quantity of daily catch and reporting on it. It is permitted to catch up to five kilograms of fish within leisure sea fishing. It is also permitted to catch one fish over five kilograms or two fish with the total weight of five kilograms. Greater amount is allowed only within fishing competitions organized by the association for sports fishing at the sea.
