Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down methods and procedures for integrated production of vegetables, method of the control of this production and labeling of integrated grown vegetables and conditions to be met by the organization for inspection and certification of integrated agricultural products and food. For the purposes of these provisions integrated plant protection means careful consideration of all available methods of protecting plants and integration of appropriate measures to prevent the spread of pests and maintain the use of pesticides and other forms of intervention to reduce the risk to human health and the environment. Integrated protection from pests emphasizes the growth of healthy plants with the least possible disruption to agro-ecosystems and encourages natural mechanisms of the control of pests. This Regulation is composed of 36 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Integrated production of vegetables (Sec. 2); Technology guide (Sec. 3); Integrated control of production (Sec. 4); Control of the organization for inspection and certification (Sec. 5); Control procedures related to registration of producers (Sec. 6); Marking and integrated marketing (Sec. 7); Final provisions (Sec. 8).
