Abstract This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on rescue and protection in emergency situations of the Republika Srpska, sets the appearance and manner of use of the sign of protection and rescue in emergency situations. The sign of protection and rescue is a single-pointed blue triangle on an orange square field, which is identical to the international sign of civil protection. Members and equipment of emergency headquarters, units and teams of civil protection and commissioners of protection and rescue shall be marked with the sign of protection and rescue. When marking, the sign of protection and rescue is highlighted at the locations where the forces and means of civil protection, ie protection and rescue, are located, and which are visible from several directions. At night or when visibility is reduced, the protection and rescue sign should be illuminated if conditions and possibilities allow it.
