This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation provides for: a) general and special conditions relating to the safety of materials used to make the objects that come or may come directly or indirectly in contact with food; b) general and special conditions relating to the safety of objects that come or may come directly or indirectly in contact with food, and are made of materials (objects); c) methods of analysis for determining the migration of lead and cadmium from ceramic products, methods for the determination of vinyl chloride monomer in materials and articles intended to come into contact with food, vinyl chloride monomer, which materials and articles are released into the food, the technique of determining the limit of detection, the method of testing N-nitrosamines and their precursors in rubber bottles and dummies;
