This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the requirements for cattle and pigs in terms of their transport (between the Republic of Bulgaria and other Member States of the European Union), including the requirements for determining the health status of regions and sites of origin of such animals, requirements applicable to trade in bovine animals and pigs, the requirements for the introduction of the monitoring/surveillance programme, the additional guarantees to be met by cattle and pigs during the transport.
