Abstract

The present Regulation, adopted by the Swedish Food Agency, lays down rules on various forms of fruit juice and nectars placed on the market in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 178/2002. The designations listed in Annex I may only be used for foodstuffs which meet the applicable requirements of this Regulation. The Regulation contains the following Annexes: 1. Designations, definitions and properties; 2. Definitions of raw materials; 3. Special provisions for fruit nectar; and 4. Minimum permissible brix values for reconstituted fruit juice and reconstituted fruit purée.
