Abstract

Fishing of any species of fish, crustaceans, molluscs and other aquatic species is prohibited as follows: (a) in the Prut river, in permanently or temporarily flooded areas and in the Stanca – Costesti reservoir, for 60 consecutive days, between April 1 and June 30; (b) at the mouth of the Prut river in the Danube, at a distance of 500 m on both sides and along the river course at a distance of 10 km from the confluence, in the period March 1 - June 1; (c) in the Prut river, in front of the sluices, canals and inlets feeding ponds and lakes, at a distance of 500 m from both sides of the mouths, as well as inside them, during the period of March 15 - June 15; and (d) in the Prut River, in the area 500 m downstream of the dam, throughout the year.
