Abstract

This Regulation establishes the modalities of fisheries in the Black Sea and coastal lakes and drowned rivers flowing into the Black Sea. Marking of fishing vessels shall comply with the national standards of Ukraine. All fishing gear used for fishing from fishing vessels shall be marked. Fishery manager shall timely inform fishing inspection and veterinary institution in case of identification of ill aquatic biological resources, mass fish mortality or deterioration of natural habitat of aquatic biological resources. In case of specialized fisheries the amount of bycatch shall not be limited for species for which industrial quotas are not set forth. Prohibition of catch of turbot (Psetta) due to protected reproduction period shall be set forth from 1 to 30 May.
