Abstract This Regulation, as for the meaning of the Slovenian Act determining intervention measures to contain the Covid-19 epidemic and mitigate its consequences for citizens and economy, here specifies the measure, applicants, beneficiaries, conditions, method of calculation and procedure for granting financial compensation for loss of income in the breeding of small ruminants due to the COVID- 19 pandemic resulting from reduced purchase of sheep and goats meat due to market disruptions related to the interruption of purchase routes, especially in the hospitality industry, and other restrictive measures that have led to a reduction in direct sales during such emergency period. The financial compensation is granted in accordance with the Communication from the Commission Temporary Framework for State aid measures to support the economy in the event of an outbreak of COVID- 19, and it is meant for holders of agricultural holding dealing with small ruminants (sheep and goat).
