The Regulation covers provisions on methods of survey, prevention of the spread, determination of and fight against Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier). The Regulation is prepared in accordance with the Commission Decision 2007/365/EC on emergency measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Community of Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier).
