Abstract

This Regulation sets forth rules and procedures to prevent to introduction and spread of the harmful organism Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier) in the country. The Regulation covers provisions on methods of survey, prevention of the spread, determination of and fight against Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier). The Regulation is prepared in accordance with the Commission Decision 2007/365/EC on emergency measures to prevent the introduction into and the spread within the Community of Rhynchophorus ferrugineus (Olivier).
