Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 14 articles and two Annexes, establishes: (1) conditions that must be met by feed intended for placing on the market, use and import; (2) undesirable substances in feed in accordance with Directive 2002/32/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on undesirable substances in animal feed; (2) substances prohibited in food; (3) details on dealing with inadequate feeding; (4) internal control of feed business operators; (5) risk assessment and risk management. The provisions of this Regulation also apply to water for watering of the animals. The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure that products for animal consumption are produced with merchantable quality and do not cause a threat to human health, animals and the environment or adversely affect livestock production.
