Abstract This Regulation prescribes general rules on hygiene of animal feed, including conditions for all related actions, security procedures for feed traceability, and issues on necessary registration and approval of facilities that are dealing with animal feed. This Regulation shall apply to: a) activities of food business operators for animals at all levels starting from the primary production up marketing and trade; b) feeding of animals used for food production; c) imports from other countries and exports to other countries of animal feed.
