Abstract

The present Regulation, issued by the Swedish Food Agency, contains provisions on food business operators' obligation to preserve foodstuffs or sufficient samples thereof, and the carrying-out of investigations by competent authorities, in cases concerning food-borne outbreaks. Food-borne outbreaks are understood to be an incidence of two or more cases of diseases or infections in humans that can be linked to the same food source.
