The Regulation enters into force 14 days after publication in the Journal of Laws.
Abstract

This Regulation of the Minister of Health, which is composed of 11 Paragraphs and three Annexes, defines enriching substances added to food and conditions of their use. The list of foodstuffs to which vitamins and mineral substances can be added is specified in Annex 1. The list of vitamins and mineral substances which can be added to foodstuff is specified in Annex 2. The list of permitted chemical forms of vitamins and mineral substances is specified in Annex 3. Chemical compounds added to food, such as sources of vitamins and mineral substances, must be bioabsorbable and must not be harmful to human health.
