Abstract The Regulation of the Minister of Environment is composed of four Sections: General provisions (sect. 1); Loans (sect. 2); Subsidies (sect. 3); Final provision (sect. 4). The product fees are accumulated on separate bank accounts in the National Fund of the Environment and Water Management. Subsidies can be given for: pilot ventures concerning introduction of the technological development and new technologies; monitoring of recycling system and recycling of waste packaging; collection and recycling of wastes for enterprises exceeding required levels of recycling; ecological education concerning selective collection and recycling of waste packaging.
