Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Environment, which is composed of 14 articles, establishes detailed conditions of granting public support to investments concerning environmental protection with the aim of reduction of emissions from fuel combustion. Support can be given to the following types of investments: (1) reconstruction or expansion of combustion of fuels and heating systems; (2) reconstruction of facilities or equipment of fuel combustion sources or systems for reducing the emission of gaseous and dust pollutants; (3) conversion of fuel combustion sources to environmentally friendly solutions; (4) investments in associated production of electricity and heat. The support can be realted wto adaptation of existing combustion plants to environmental standards laid down in European Union regulations concerning protection of the environment in terms of emissions from fuel combustion sources.
