Abstract

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Montenegrin Law on the protection from negative impacts of climate change, determines the necessary conditions for access to the carbon dioxide transport network, and further sets the procedure and criteria for acceptance of related carbon dioxide flows. Carbon dioxide flow is a flow of substances that occur during carbon dioxide capture processes; transport network is a network of pipelines, as well as associated pumping stations, for transport of carbon dioxide in storage space. The carbon dioxide stream may contain substances added to it in the process of finding, carbon capture and injection as well as traces of substances added for easier monitoring and verification of carbon dioxide flow through the transport network. Article 4 lists the requirements for access to the transport network for the cross-border transport of carbon dioxide streams.
