Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on environment, prescribes detailed conditions regarding the manner and procedure for determining, calculating and paying the fee for energy production deriving from fossil fuels. Legal entities and individuals who manage installations engaged in the production of energy produced by burning fossil fuels shall report the quantity of energy produced by burning fossils expressed in kilowatt hours. The total calculated compensation of produced energy with combustion of fossil fuels has to be expressed in the Energy Production Compensation Application for fossil fuels (see Annex of this publication). This application shall be submitted by the taxpayer (energy production holder) every 15th in the current month for all calculated produced energy compensations from the previous month. The taxpayer maintains and keeps neat and accurate records regarding the production of energy in kilowatt hours produced by burning fossil fuels, among related paid compensation fees.
