Abstract The present Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development is composed of seven paragraphs. The protective vaccination is done by the provincial veterinarian in forests and all places of foxes living. The protective vaccination is not necessary if there have been no cases of rabies to the given province and neighbouring provinces for the last three years. The protective vaccination is in the form of oral vaccine placed in a bait. The number of doses depends on the level of afforesting of the area, population of wild animals and the method of administering the vaccine.
