Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Law on tobacco and tobacco products, prescribes the criteria and methods for qualitative and quantitative assessment of tobacco (given in Annexes 1-8 of this text). The criteria and methods for qualitative and quantitative assessment of unprocessed leaf tobacco are applied to: oriental aromatic tobacco that covers them types: Prilep, Jaka, Jebel and Basmak with their varieties with leaf length up to 20 cm; Oriental additional tobacco that covers the types: Prilep, Jaka, Jebel and Basmak with their varieties with leaf length over 20 cm; semi-oriental tobacco that covers the type of fire with its varieties; large-leaf tobacco that includes the types: virginia and burley with their varieties.
