The Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization is the only responsible entity to authorize the establishment, reformation and equipping of the tourism facilities. All tourism facilities will gain a temporary work permit and if they could meet the quality standards during this trial period the Organization will issue the operation license. The Organization would grade the tourism facilities based on technical specification, equipment, work force and quality of their services. The organization also provides these tourism facilities with approved cost rates for each grade. The Tourism Organization is obliged to monitor the quality and the price of services, sanitary conditions and other required standards of tourism facilities frequently.
