Abstract

This Regulation provides for policy making, planning, coordination and collaboration between executive agencies of the government for conducting required tasks at national and regional stages and also observing the implementation of required actions for reducing the consequences of dust phenomena. For this target, the national action unit shall be established whose presidency will be with the Department of the Environment. The objects of this Regulation will be operated through establishment of specialised workshop groups who will be in charge of setting up plans and policies for assessing the air problems, making short term and long term plans by considering the ecological conditions to face with the dust phenomena and consider investment of the private sector and using novel technologies through start -ups in related projects. The Regulation provides for separate duties for other governmental agencies including the Ministry of Road and Urban Development, Department of Environment, Ministry of Agriculture - Jahad and Ministry of Energy. This Regulation is drafted in 22 Articles.
