Any exploration and extraction of the oil, gas and other seabed resources, the establishment of ports and harbours, the exploitation of new sources of energy, research and investigation equipment and protection of marine environment in these areas are exclusive sovereignty rights of the government of Iran. With the permission of the government as well as observing all technical and safety considerations, other countries may construct pipelines and cables in the EEZ and Continental Shelf in the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman. For any construction in these area, the margin of safety should be specified and any transmission in these limits is required the permission. In order to provide maritime security, the owners of the oil platforms in the era should send the platform’s geographical locations to the Ministry of Transportation as well as International Maritime Organization.
