Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food establishes conditions to be met by premises, equipment and personnel of the zoo or shelter for abandoned animals to obtain the concession of public veterinary services, as well as the qualification process. In particular, the premises of veterinary activities, except the offices, should be arranged so that they can be maintained in good sanitary conditions and disinfected. The premises must be adapted according to the type and number of animals. Isolation ward for infected animals and animals suspected of being infected should be located in the immediate vicinity of the building and arranged so that the animals are separated. It must be possible to clean and disinfect and to prevent transmission of infectious disease. This Regulation is composed of 13 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); General conditions (Sec. 2); Special conditions (Sec. 3); Human resources (Sec. 4); Qualification procedure (Sec. 5); Transitional and final provisions (Sec. 6).
