Abstract This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of ten articles, specifies types of plants which may be, in accordance with point c) of the first paragraph of Article 16 of the Law on the Protection of New Varieties of Plants, grown by farmers on their farms and used for further sowing in the economy. This Regulation lays down also conditions of the use of these plants, rights and obligations of breeders and producers in connection with the use of crop protected variety for further sowing, criteria for determining the appropriate compensation and criteria for small farmers, who are exempt from reimbursement.
