Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette, except for the provisions of article 4 (paragraph 3) which shall enter into force upon the Croatian accession to the European Union.
Abstract

This Regulation provides all necessary standards and conditions for the recognition (on the territory of the Croatian Republic) of breeders' associations, central offices and Breeders Association (organization) which maintain or establish a specific stud-books for breeding pigs of pure breeds and the form and content of the register of breeding organizations, also part of the rules and requirements prescribed by the Commission Decision 89/501/EEC laying down the criteria for approval and supervision of breeders' associations and breeding organizations which establish or maintain herd books for pure-bred breeding pigs.
