Abstract

This Regulation prescribes the conditions for fulfilling the status of full and/or incomplete origin of quality breeding domestic animals (cattle, equidae, poultry, apiculture and other), including the conditions for entering of such domestic animals in the related national registry, as well as the content and manner of keeping of those registers. Quality breeding domestic animals have full origin, provided that their parents and the parents of the parents are entered in the register, except in the case of equidae where five generations of ancestors have to be entered in the register to obtain the full origin status. The full origin is determined by inspecting such registry records.
