Regulation on conditions, criteria, contents and manner of classification of petrogeothermal resources and on the manner for study presentations. Country/Territory Serbia Document type Regulation Date 2018 Source FAO, FAOLEX Subject Energy, Mineral resources Keyword Energy conservation/energy production Classification/declassification Research Mining Procedural matters Geographical area Europe, Europe and Central Asia Entry into force notes This text entered into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette (published on 26 January 2018). Abstract This Regulation prescribes necessary conditions, criteria, contents and relevant manner for the classification of petrogeothermal resources under different types of geothermal resources. This text further defines the manner of presentation of related studies. Petrogeothermal resources in the sense of this Regulation include geothermal resources, ie internal heat of the earth's crust accumulated in compact and/or porous rock masses, from which heat (geothermal) energy can be extracted, through geoprobes, geothermal collectors or energy piles. The classification of petrogeothermal resources is performed after the performed geological research by expert consideration of the results and determination of the degree of geological research of such rock masses, on the basis of which expert analysis and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative properties of degree masses shall be performed. Determining the degree of geological research referred determining/estimating petrogeothermal resources shall be performed on the basis of geological-hydrogeological, hydrometeorological, petrophysical, geothermal and constructive-technical criteria.
