This Regulation enters into force on the day it is published.
Abstract

This Regulation sets forth procedures and principles of authorization, inspection and cancellation of authorities of competent administrations conducting inspection, survey, approval and certification services. The competent administrations undertake inspection and survey of minimum safety requirements and competencies of Turkish vessels under construction, modification or repair, in compliance with the national legislation, international conventions, rules, code, circular and other regulations related to prevention of sea pollution and safety of life and property at sea. The competent administrations shall carry out port state control and in case of need shall request for additional documents.
