Abstract The present document has been elaborated on the basis and for the purpose of development of the System of certification of foodstuffs and alimentary raw materials within Certification system GOST R and establishes the regulations for compulsory certification of fish, fish products and sea food in two forms: 1. in accordance with the documentation of the certification system GOST R; 2. in accordance with the regulation on certification of produce with the use of application-declaration of the manufacturer. Certification authority accredited in accordance with the established modalities on the basis of the institution “Giprobybflot” (St. Petersburg) is entitled with the task of carrying out methodical work for the complete certification of fish products in accordance with the form 1, including round testing. Fish products are divided into two groups: 1. products with the guaranteed expiration date (storage, trade) up to 30 days inclusive (perishable goods) and over 30 days (long-term preservation). Compulsory certification of long-term preservation fish products must be carried out in accordance with any certification scheme (II-V, VII) or in accordance with application-declaration in accordance with the form 2.
