This Regulation shall be applicable to seeds subject to certification in the Kyrgyz Republic. This Regulation shall not be applicable to seeds used or intended to be used for scientific research or experimental purposes; used or intended for use for breeding new varieties; and not subject to certification. Certification shall be performed by authorized body of inspection and approbation of seeds and planting material. Certification body of state control on approbation of seeds and planting material, is obliged in accordance with the established procedure to register in the State Inspectorate for Standardization and Metrology under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstandart) certification systems and marks of conformity. Varieties that have undergone two years of testing in the state network and distinguished by yields and quality indicators in specific soil and climatic conditions are included in the State Register of Zoning of Varieties of the Kyrgyz Republic and shall be subsequently recommended for the relevant regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Seeds of cereals subject to certification must meet the requirements for variety typicality and purity. The body exercising state control over approbation of seed and planting material, carries out control of seed crops at certain stages of plant development in order to determine their compliance. Selected seed samples should be packaged in such a way that during transportation thereof they are not damaged. Seed moisture samples are packaged in moisture-proof containers. A label with complete and accurate information about sed quality is placed on or attached to the package. Full text Russian
