Abstract This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, sets the general classification rules as regards the categorization of waste. This Regulation provides for: catalog of waste; list of waste categories (Q list); list of categories of hazardous waste according to their nature or activity by which they are generated (Y list); list of waste components that make it hazardous (C list); list of hazardous waste characteristics (X list); list of procedures and methods of waste disposal and reuse (D and R list); limit values for the concentration of hazardous components in waste on the basis of which the characteristics of waste are determined; types of parameters for determining the physico-chemical properties of hazardous waste intended for physico-chemical treatment; types of parameters for waste testing for thermal treatment; types of parameters for waste testing and testing of eluate intended for disposal; types, content and form of the waste testing report and the manner and procedure of waste classification.
