Abstract

This Regulation determines the rules necessary for performing the work of forest ranger or forest guard service; sets the form and content of the official book that registers illegal actions; prescribes issues regarding the procedure for determining the actual situation in the forest guard area. The forestry service carries out regional maintenance of forests in forestry areas. Forestry area in the sense of this text means a part of an area under forests and forest land in state and private ownership. The size of forest protection areas is different and depends on: the type of forest, the degree of danger from illegal cutting and forest fires, the intensity of management, terrain configuration, damage from biotic and abiotic factors, openness to roads, density of settlements, distance from populated areas and others.
