Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on packaging and packaging waste management (2021), prescribes the standards for biodegradability that should be respected by bags for carrying goods. Carrying bags in terms of this Regulation are all bags over 15 microns intended for carrying products and goods for personal consumption that are purchased in stores, warehouses, warehouses, business premises, green markets and special markets where retail is carried out, except for bags which are not subject to daily general demand, such as bags for carrying textiles, books, stationery, technical goods, medicines and auxiliary medical products, household utensils, all kinds of footwear, toys, sports equipment and similar goods. This text also defines the manner of placing on the market of biodegradable bags by retailers as well the form and content of records that shall be kept by traders. Article 3 list all adopted standards. The Annex is also part of this publication (samples of indicated data reporting form).
