This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on animal by-products (Republika Srpska), determines all processing methods for by-products depending on the category of material which is processed, as well as types of basic and alternative methods for by-product processing. Alternative processing methods are: 1) alkaline hydrolysis; 2) hydrolysis under high pressure and high temperature; 3) bio-gas hydrolysis process under high pressure; 4) production of bio-diesel; 5) burning of fat of animal origin in boiler rooms; 6) thermomechanical production of bio-fuels and 7) "Brooks" gasification.
