This text entered into force eight days after its publication in the Official Gazette (started to apply on 1 July 2011).
Abstract

This Regulation determines: a) health conditions for placing on the market, import and transit of aquaculture animals and their products; b) minimum preventive measures for suppression and control of infectious diseases in aquaculture animals, aimed at raising awareness and readiness of competent authorities, aquaculture entities and other entities engaged in works in this industry; c) the minimum control measures applied in the case of suspicion or occurrence of certain diseases in aquatic animals. Aquaculture animal in term sof this Regulation is any aquatic animal in all stages of development, including eggs and jelly/gametes, which are reared in a farm or in a mollusc farming area, including all aquatic animals from nature that are intended for introduction into the farm or breeding area for molluscs.
