Abstract

This Law makes provision with respect to utility services in Guernsey. It establishes the Office of the Director General of Utility Regulation, the Public Utilities Regulation Fund and the Utility Appeals Panel and Tribunal. The Director-general shall be instrumental in providing effective utility services and shall grant and renew licences to provide utility services, or to establish, operate or maintain a utility network, under any Sector Law, i.e. any Law which provides for the regulation by the Director General of utility activities.
